Plastic Mold Design

In addition to designing die cast dies, Franchino Mold’s engineering department can assist with the plastic mold designing process. We also have the ability to run samples to make sure that the molds we design function properly.

New product development can be a difficult and time consuming process. Franchino Mold can lighten the load of product development by assisting with the design and offering consultations on what we’ve learned through years of experience building new product designs.

Inspection Services

As part of our commitment to delivering the highest quality product, Franchino Mold’s inspection system reviews every project to uncover any defects. We have dedicated personnel utilizing inspection equipment to ensure quality tools and services.

Reverse Engineering

We offer reverse engineering services from full product to model.  Customers may have parts that need to be replaced where the product has either changed from the original design or they do not have the original design.  Our engineering department has proven experience in performing the reverse engineering you need to reproduce your parts.

Designing to your Specifications

Large or small, Franchino Mold can build exactly the tools that you need – we have produced tools that run in presses ranging from 60 ton to 6000 ton.  Our specialty is medium to large tools and our largest tool build to date is in excess of 200,000 lbs.

Our in-house product design and engineering services are available to help you with the process of tooling development from start to finish. For example, an entrepreneur came in with a product idea sketched on a napkin.  Franchino Mold worked with him to complete a part design, designed and built a tool, and helped source the tool for production.
